# Terms of Service

**Direct Answer:** These Terms govern your use of the Citorum website at trycitorum.com and the Citorum GEO platform at app.trycitorum.com. Citorum measures how AI answer engines cite your brand. Citorum does not promise specific rankings, citation counts, or recommendations — answer engines are not a leaderboard, and any vendor who guarantees a position is misrepresenting how these systems work.

## Acceptance

By using Citorum you agree to these Terms. If you are using Citorum on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

## What Citorum does

Citorum runs daily prompt fan-outs against major AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Google AI Overviews) on behalf of the prompt set you configure, parses the answers, extracts citations, and presents the results in a dashboard with recommendations. Citorum is a measurement and analysis tool. Citorum does not edit your website, place pages, or interact with engines outside the prompt fan-out.

## What Citorum does not promise

- Citorum does not promise that your brand will be cited by any engine.
- Citorum does not promise a specific share of citation, recommendation rate, or sentiment score.
- Citorum does not promise that the engines themselves will remain stable, accessible, or honest.

Anyone who promises these things is selling theatre. We are explicit about this.

## Acceptable use

You agree not to use Citorum to send abusive or illegal prompts, to interfere with engines beyond ordinary measurement, or to misrepresent another organization's brand as your own.

## Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Subscription terms, prices, and billing cadence are set out in your order form. You can cancel at any time effective at the end of the then-current billing period.

## Intellectual property

You retain all rights in your prompt sets, your brand assets, and the citation data Citorum collects on your behalf. Citorum retains rights in the platform itself and in anonymized, aggregate engine-level benchmarks derived from many customers' data.

## Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citorum is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including any consequence of an engine's behavior.

## Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
