# Privacy Policy

**Direct Answer:** Citorum collects only the information needed to operate the marketing site and to deliver the Citorum GEO platform to paying customers. We do not sell personal data, we do not share account data with advertisers, and we do not train external models on customer prompt sets or citation results.

## What we collect

- **Marketing site (trycitorum.com).** Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, referrer), and product analytics events (page views, button clicks). No tracking pixels from advertising networks.
- **Account data (app.trycitorum.com).** Name, work email, organization, and the prompt sets you configure for tracking.
- **Operational data.** The citation results, model answers, and engine responses Citorum collects on your behalf. This is your data; we hold it in trust to render the dashboard and to compute aggregate, anonymized engine-level benchmarks.

## What we do not do

- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share customer data with advertising networks.
- We do not use customer prompt sets or citation results to train external models.
- We do not promise rankings — and we do not collect any data that would let us pretend to.

## Cookies

Citorum uses a minimal set of first-party cookies for session management and product analytics. The marketing site loads no third-party advertising cookies.

## Your rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@trycitorum.com. We respond within 30 days.

## Data residency and sub-processors

Citorum stores customer data in the United States and the European Union. We use a small set of named sub-processors (cloud hosting, transactional email, payment processing). The current list is available on request to privacy@trycitorum.com.
